Chimborazo Acclimatization

Chimborazo Basecamp is the perfect mountain refuge to get a comfortable taste of high-altitude before making an oftentimes uncomfortable summit attempt of Chimborazo.  High-altitude mountain climbing is extremely difficult and while the Chimborazo climb offers one of the highest "non-technical" climbs in the Andes mountains it still requires that even the most experienced of climbers spend time at altitude to make their summit attempt a little bit easier.

Digital Nomad Working Space

Digital Nomads can take advantage of the 25mb/sec broadband internet which is lightning fast considering the refuge is above 4,000 metres on the edge of Chimborazo National Park.  Construction on these high-altitude pods was only completed as of early 2022 and the team is still stress testing the connection  to ensure we have an accurate barometer of how much of the cloud it can handle, but so far the connection is very promising indeed.
